This is a great value for the packing cubes, but when it was first used while backpacking, I believe, encouraged inefficent packing my shirts and underwear, and is used primarily as elastic built to keep closing my luggage at all. My solution: combine them with travel-size vacuum space bags "(whatever the manufacturer is well – I have Eagle Creek) to squeeze these down a notch. Aid for the construction of mesh airflow outside of the package, but the buckets themsleves help keep everyhing organized when there are all clean and pressed to keep the bags.
Regardless of what type of luggage I'm taking (or structured mobile mobile duffle bags), these packing cubes are a great help with the internal organization. They let me off like a cube as in underwear, socks in another etc. I have also been happy with them for things – to use a powercords and cables (for laptop, Zen player, camera, mobile phone) and other accessories small as my memory card reader for digital camera etc
Very useful – and I had given some of these for many years to keep doing good. I like the Eagle Creek ones a little better, but all of Rick Steves is by far the best price. And Rick Steves is a travel guru by the way – if you do not own some of his books is actually losing. They are the best travel books on the market.
