  3. It reminds me of when i used to live in North Russia just like that, barren and cold sun during night and the winter is awful so dark and cold and lonely :( so many people suffered from depression!

  4. I live in alaska and there is bigger citys but it can get really lonely and depressing in winter with all that darkness. Then we all go crazy in the summer and stay up all night having fun. So in a way we all hibernate here lol

  10. Just another THANK you to Lonely Planet. I could NOT live without you! Everytime i get your book in my hands before my travels I embrace it like it is a Treasure map. Yes it is a Treasure map indeed!!!I am off to explore Alaska this summer. If anyone has tips for me I would Love to hear from you! Or better yet show me around… :) I wanna be on top of the world!
