This book was very helpful, and I used it a long time in Nicaragua. It's current (2008) and quite a day. If Nicaragua is going to want to invest in this book.

I just returned from my first trip to Nicaragua. It was an incredible experience and the Moon Handbook was essential for pre-trip planning and last minute changes in travel plans while on the road. The authors of Nicaragua know and love, and it shows in their advice on where to go, what to do and who to contact (eg Granada Maverick had some information really well). The authors also have great travel forum and answer your questions very quickly travel ([...]). The only thing I would have liked is a table of approximate travel time of destinations (for the next edition perhaps?).
